Addition To The History Of Love

Addition To The History Of Love
***
NUMBER 23। TAAKH !!! He was dead and the consolation was “HAY”…
The true story was not known except to the characters of this poem…

The ceiling was where you concentrated your look.
She only passed and without any mean yours and more she took.
With her eyes she ordered thee
To make him innocent to make him free.
You obeyed and by God’s help the resemblance was found.
He was free without any doubt.

*****

You loved her, but it was too late to say.
She had found her husband, she had found her way.
She truly loved him,
So you preferred to be in the dim.
You intended to say to her that you love her from heart
And now you must leave her you must depart.
You softly kneeled and simply kissed her hand
Promising to sacrifice your life for her and anyone so dear
Even if it meant to you to go the other land
You hoped to prevent her eye to drop even one tear.

*****

After the long pause
The revolution then rose.
Although it wasn’t her husband’s fault
But at the end against him they all vote.
They wanted him to be dead,
They wanted to hand his head.

*****

Now the time came
For you to play this gentle game,
The resemblance now helps you again.
For you to carry out your promise,
But the price is your life which you intended willingly to miss.
For you to prevent her heart fear,
To prevent her eyes once to tear.
For you to obey your feelings,
To leave your deed a lesson for the human beings.
For you to write your name in the history of love to write your name in her heart,
Sure you will have a greater part.
Remember, you have carried out your promise till the end,
Because you are a faithful friend.
Remember, you have paid your soul,
You will live in their mind in us all.

This person is “Sydney Carton” one of the important characters of a novel written by Charles Dickens called “A Tale of Two Cities”
